Kumpirmado na ang pag-alis ni versatile and athletic 6’2 forward Bong KierJohn Quinto sa Batangas Athletics-Tanduay iyan ang paglilinaw mula kay MPBL Champion Coach Mac Tan.
Ito ay sa kadahilanang magbabalik na si Quinto sa collegiate team nito na Letran na sasabak din sa muling pagbubukas ng NCAA season na halos kasabay ng MPBL 2nd conference.
Isa umanong malaking bahagi ang ginagampanan ni Quinto sa rotation ng Athletics kaya itinuturing ni Coach Tan na malaki itong kawalan para sa team.
Tila magiging malabo rin sa ngayon na makabalik at makapaglaro muli ito sa Batangas dahil sa plano rin ni Quinto na sumubok sa parating na Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Draft.
