A HIDDEN SANCTUARY IN MATAAS NA KAHOY
Resorts are common in the beautiful province of Batangas, yet I was still swept away by a two-year old resort we visited in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas.
Eco Hotel in Mataasnakahoy is part of a chain of hotels in the Philippines under the same name and this one is nestled in a secluded location with the Taal Volcano as its main attraction, and with its location that is quite set apart from the others, guests can be assured of their privacy and security.
Although quite secluded, the location is very much accessible as Mataasnakahoy is situated beside Lipa City, thus MNK can be accessed via the Star Tollway – Tambo Exit for guests coming from Manila.
The entire property is made up of eco-friendly materials, with solar panels as their main source of electricity, hence the name. The hotel takes pride in its location amongst other things, but aside from that, it also takes pride in its simple yet luxurious Balinese-inspired interiors.
They have an infinity pool which is sitting comfortably atop a piece of land where the volcano peeks through, and they also have a pavilion which can accommodate both small and large families, where they can eat, mingle, and have fun.
Eco Hotel – MNK also boasts of its Instagrammable spots which, quite are frankly, are almost every spot in the property.
So if you need new photos for your feed, or if you simply need a place to unwind, visit Eco-Hotel Villas in Mataasnakahoy, Batangas. It is surely the place to chillax.
