Ginebra Ignites Christmas Showdown, Dominates Game 1 of Commissioner’s Cup Finals with LA Tenorio Scoring 22 Points!
It was a big Christmas Day Showdown and Game 1 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals, and Barangay Ginebra was able to draw first blood against the Bay Area Dragons. The final score was 96 to 81.
LA Tenorio was the best player of the night, as he scored a total of 22 points. He shot 9 out of his 18 attempts from the field and 3 out of 7 from beyond the arc.
The Batangueño Iron Man of the PBA was the king of the court on this night, as he helped lead his team to victory.
The night could not have gone any better for Barangay Ginebra, as they took the first-game victory and with it, the advantage in the best-of-seven series. Now, it’s time to look ahead to the next game.
Game 2 is set to be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Barangay Ginebra will have the same mission in this second match-up; to continue their dominant performance and take home the victory.
The Dragons will make sure to give their opponents a hard time. With this being a seven-game series, anything can happen between now and the end of the series.
For now though, Barangay Ginebra is one step closer to the championship title. It’s all up to them to see it through to the finish.
