LPU-Batangas Highschool bagged 19 medals in World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions 2019 in US

Three(3) students from Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas bagged a total of 19 medals in the recently concluded World Scholar’s Cup, Tournament of Champions 2019 held at Yale University in Connecticut, USA.

World Scholar’s Cup is an international team academic program which aims to attract students interested in learning beyond typical school curricula and to focus on bringing students from different cultures together to discuss issues and ideas relevant to today. 

A total of 2700 competitors from 61 countries joined the competition.

LPU-Batangas highschool team mentored by Mrs.Jamie Lee F. Mendoza, Assistant Principal, brought home a total of 9 gold medals and 10 silver medals.

Team composed of the following students:

Kielle Imrei Tria – 6 gold medals and 5 silver medals
Yvette Frances Ortega – 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals
Mark Joshua Noche -1 gold medal and 3 silver medals
