The first and longest-running art fair in the Philippines, ManilART, is coming to Batangas!
The ManilART Satellite Exhibit at Batangas coincides with KUNST Filipino celebrating its 30 years of artistry and they’ve aptly named the event FILIPINISM (What Makes Art Filipino) curated by 2021 Presidential Banaag Awardee, Virgilio Cuizon.
ManilART is established in 2009 with the mandate to promote Philippine culture through visual arts. A project co-presented by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA), ManilART’s vision is to make the Philippines a premier art hub in Asia. Over the years, its aim has been to increase the exposure of Filipino talents here in the Philippines and worldwide.
The exhibition will be held from October 8-18,2022 at the ApLaya Art Gallery in Brgy. Bolbok Diversion Road, Batangas City in front of St. Camillus de Leillis Hospital.
This is a great opportunity for visual arts lovers in Batangas to get up close and personal with some of the best art in the country. Plus, it’s a great way to support local artists and help promote Philippine culture.
So whether you’re a fan of the visual arts, a budding artist yourself, or just looking to appreciate art in a different light, this is definitely the event for you! We hope to see you there!
