Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge Regional Eliminations at SM City Lipa
On October 20, Sunday, the Mathematics Trainers Guild (MTG), Batangas Chapter will be staging the regional eliminations of the 14th Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge (PSSC).
This annual event aims to promote the number puzzle to the youth for the purpose of developing their reasoning ability; enhance the mental and critical skills of the students so that they can solve life’s problems effectively; and offer an alternative to spending enjoyable, educational and productive past time.
Since last year, the PSSC has used different brackets to classify entrants in order to align them to the international standards.
Thus, PSSC uses the following age groups: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 15 and Over 15.
Winners of each bracket shall be representing the Batangas province in the 14th PSSC National Finals which will be held at the Skydome of SM City North Edsa on February 2020.
