Repent Official Music Video by Karma Tribe out now!

The official music video for Karma Tribe’s #Repent featuring Kosha Gold, Envy, and Pope is now out!

Karma Tribe

As the saying goes, “To repent is a revolt to do what is right” Karma Tribe was inspired to make a meaningful track that tackles more about repentance and being remorseful of wrongdoings in the past.

The music video’s plot revolves around the transgressions and immorality of the three sinful sacristans who are featured in the verses presenting visually in the music video, from shoplifting, beating up someone to carnapping. Considering the current social context, ‘Repent’ serves as a recollection and a bittersweet reminder of transgressions in the past that led to repentance and atonement.

The song is the second single off their upcoming mixtape “LONG LIVE KARMA,” which features a wide range of sounds and tastes in rap music.

The new music video is under the direction of Victor Gador of In D Element and cinematography by Neo Bautista of Alon Creatives and NB Studios. Repent is produced by Anito and is performed and written by Kosha Gold, Envy, and Pope.

Who is Karma Tribe?

Karma Tribe is a Filipino hip-hop collective representing the east and north sides, formed in 2019. It was founded on the initiative of Anito, Kosha Gold, Envy, and Pope in order to create distinctive yet high-quality local hip-hop music. Benjamin$, EZ Mitch, W1LL K, and Apollo were later added to blend with Karma’s existing sound. They aim to take local hip-hop to a higher level of international excellence as they aspire to perform on greater venues throughout the world to represent Filipino hip-hop.

Karma Tribe is actively collaborating with additional local musicians, particularly from the Eastside, on their forthcoming mixtape, under the distribution of Studio155.
