Jamie Christine Berberabe Lim bags the gold medal for the Philippines in the women’s individual +61 kg kumite in Karatedo of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Monday, December 09, 2019 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The Batangueña Karateka strikes Gold as she escaped a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ceyco Zefanya of Indonesia.

Jamie is the daughter of PBA Legend Samboy Lim, popularly known as the “Skywalker” and former PAG-IBIG Fund President and CEO, Atty. Darlene Berberabe.

Aside from being a SEA Games 2019 gold medalist, Jamie Christine Lim also graduated summa cum laude in BS Mathematics at UP Diliman earlier this year.
