The pride of Nasugbu, Batangas LA Tenorio will once again play for flag and country.

He is set to play with the Philippine national team Gilas Pilipinas tonight against Singapore in the Southeast Asian Games Men’s basketball competition at the MOA Arena.

The SEA Games team will be coached by the only two time PBA Grandslam coach, Tim Cone.

Earlier this year, PBA Legend Alvin “The Captain” Patrimonio passes the “Iron Man” torch to Tenorio.

As the Barangay Ginebra’s GIN-eral suited up for his 597th game at that time breaking the “Captain”s long-standing record of most consecutive games played.

The PBA held a short ceremony at halftime to recognized the feat, and the Captain and GINeral can be seen saluting each other.

Last October 2019, LA Tenorio joins the 1,000 three-pointers club and breaches the 800 steals mark  to add it on his growing list of PBA milestones.
