Secretary Francisco Duque III of the Department of Health (DOH) visited Agoncillo, Batangas, and conducted vaccination on families and individuals displaced by the Taal Volcano unrest on Monday.

The vaccination program aims to provide protection for the affected evacuees to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as it will be more difficult to maintain physical distancing in the evacuation center.

Sec. Duque, also provided the evacuees with hygiene kits, Information, Education and Communication materials, and face masks.

The activity was attended by Vice Governor Mark Leviste along with some staff from the Provincial Health Office and representatives of Agoncillo local government officials, led by Mayor Daniel Reyes, and the Provincial Department of Health.
