Sto. Tomas, Batangas will have its week-long celebration of 9th MAHAGUYOG Festival along with 352nd Town Fiesta starting February 28-March 7, 2018.

The MAHAGUYOG Festival was coined to represent the four (4) agricultural products grown abundantly in the town. It stands for MA – mais (corn), HA – halaman (plants), GU – gulay (vegetables), and YOG – niyog (coconut).

It is also held as a prelude to the feast of St. Thomas of Aquinas, the town’s Patron Saint, as thanksgiving for the bountiful harvest of crops by the farmers.

Tourist will have the privilege not only to relish the festival but also to experience other Sto. Tomas riches:

  • Eco-Tourism: Mt. Manabu Peak of Mt. Malepunyo, Sipit Trail of Mt. Makiling Peak Tree,
  • AgriTourism: Sto Tomas agri park
  • Heritage Tourism: Malvar Shrine, Historical Sampalok Tree, Jose P. Laurel Monument.
  • Religious Tourism: Padre Pio National Shrine
  • Recreational Tourism: Rio De Camballao
