Three athletes added 2 more golds and 1 silver to Philippines medal haul in the ongoing biennial meet, the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Monday (December 09, 2019) at the Subic Bay Yacht Club in Subic, Zambales.

Two-time world champion Windsurfer Geylord Coveta surf his way to a golden finish as he rules the Windsurfing Men’s RS One event to secure the gold medal.

Geylord Coveta a native of Barangay Solo, Mabini, Batangas bested 5 other competitors setting the highest score at 18 points after 12 rounds.

Meanwhile, Geylord’s compatriot and fellow Batangueño Yancy Kaibigan has won another Gold for the country in the Windsurfing Men’s RS X event.

Yancy Kaibigan has set a score of 19 points after round 12. Yancy is from Barangay San Jose, Mabini, Batangas.

On the women category, another pride of Barangay Solo, Mabini, Batangas Charizzane Jewel Napa aka “Bonay” finishes second to Thailand’s Cholchava Junthonglang to win the Silver medal for PH.
