Suman is a well-known Filipino delicacy. A rice cake made from sticky rice and coconut milk. Steamed and then wrapped in banana leaves. Suman Latik is no different from the original Suman. The suman is usually eaten by dipping it into sugar. Meanwhile, Suman Latik is serve drenched with Latik (Muscovado Sugar) and Budbud (Dried coconut Pulp).
Furthermore, topped with a variety of other Filipino desserts like leche flan, ube, cheese and latik our traditional suman or rice cakes were given a new way on how it is packaged, presented and eaten. Senyor Juan serves Suman Latik freshly cooked and soft, unwrapped from its original banana leaf, neatly placed on a plate or take out box.
