Since July 2016 to December 2019, a total of 120 airport projects were completed by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Civil Aviation Airport Authority (CAAP).
Among the completed projects are the reconstruction of New Terminal Area of Tacloban Airport, completion of asphalt overlay of runway and taxiway of Zamboanga International Airport, and newly completed development works of Sangley Airport in Cavite which was inaugurated last February 15, 2020.
Among other reconstructed and renovated airports are the expansion of Passenger Terminal Building and upgraded Airfield Lighting of Tuguegarao Airport, reblocking of Apron an expansion of PTB of Virac Airport, concreting of runway and construction of elevated water tank at Siargao Airport, and the construction of Terminal Area of Ormoc Airport.
