AP’Laya Art Gallery stands for Ang Pagpipintang MaLaya. The gallery was founded by the Art’e Bauan Art Group with the help of Mr. Ponciano Acuña. It opened to the public last March 26, 2022 and is located at Bolbok Diversion Road, Batangas City in front of St Camillus de Leillis Hospital.

Ramiro “Ming” Abayon is the artist of this masterpiece. He is a multi-awarded artist and was ranked in the top 5 of the prestigious Philip Morris PHILIPPINE ARTS AWARDS 2001. The painting is about the ritual that virgins undergo after marriage in some tribes in the Philippines. The style of this artwork is semi-pointillism. The artwork is semi-textured and detailed.
