BATANGAS CITY: LAOT; Isang Bangka, Isang Pag-Asa Project Matagumpay Na Naisagawa, 2 Pamilya Ng Mangingisda Nabiyayaan Ng Motorboats

Matagumpay na naisagawa nitong October 22, 2016; Sabado ang advocacy event na LAOT: Isang Bangka, Isang Pag-asa Project (The 5K Fun Run). Ito’y bilang pagsasakatuparan sa adbokasiya ng Miss World Philippines 2016 Semifinalist na si Ms. Ralph Lauren Asuncion upang matulungan ang mga mangingisda ng Brgy. San Agapito, Isla Verde, Batangas City na magkaroon ng mga bangkang de motor na gagamitin sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay.

Makalipas ang isang buwan, November 22, 2016 ay ipinagkaloob na sa dalawang napiling mangingisda ang dalawang motorboats.

LAOT: ISANG BANGKA, ISANG PAG-ASA PROJECT (THE 5K FUN RUN)…

Maaga pa lamang ay nagtipon-tipon na ang mga kalahok para sa LAOT: Isang Bangka, Isang Pag-asa Project ni Ms Lauren Asuncion nitong nagdaang October 22, 2016, araw ng Sabado sa Batangas Provincial Sports Complex.

Ito ay dinaluhan ng mga pamilyang Batangueno, mga kabataan, mga estudyante mula sa iba’t ibang unibersidad at kolehiyo sa lungsod. Gayundin, ang mga pinuno at kawani ng gobyerno, mga miyembro ng OCVAS at Bantay Dagat, miyembro ng media at ilan sa mga mangingisda na nagmula pa sa Isla Verde.

Bandang ala-sais na ng umaga ng magumpisa ang pagtakbo ng mga kalahok dala ang pag-asang makatulong sa mga mangingisdang nangangailangan ng motorboats sa barangay San Agapito mula sa Starting Line sa Batangas Provincial Sports Complex Entrance sa barangay Bolbok, Batangas City na nagtapos naman sa Batangas City Sports Oval sa barangay Cuta, Batangas City.

Naging maayos ang takbo ng Fun run at hindi nagdulot ng trapik dahil na rin sa gabay ng Traffic Management Group(TMG) at Batangas City Police. Pasado alas-siete ng umaga ng matapos ang Fun run na naging hudyat naman para umpisahan ang maiksing awarding ceremony para sa Top 3 finishers ng race.

Pinangunahan ng mahusay na mang-aawit at brand ambassador ng Free Life Philippines Inc. na si Noel Lopez ang awarding ceremony na siyang nagsilbing host. Naging mga panauhin rin ni Miss World Philippines 2016 Semifinalist Lauren Asuncion sa kanyang advocacy event ang mga kaibigang sina Best Model of the World-Philippines 2016 Grand Winner and Vlogger Cliff Irvine Aparicio . Gayundin ang kanyang mga naging kasamahang kandidata sina MWP2016 Semifinalist Sarah Margarette Joson at MWP2016 4th Princess Sandra Lemonon.

Guys, what you did for me it isn’t just what you only did for me, but what you guys did to help our community especially to the people in Isla verde.
