GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS WINS 3RD NBA TITLE IN 4 YEARS VIA 4-0 SWEEP!!!
It’s a sweep. The Golden State Warriors are back-to-back NBA Champions against the same Cleveland Cavaliers team. This is their 3rd title in 4 years when the LeBron and team capped the 2016 crown.
It was GSW in the 1st quarter then had a close second as they had 27 pts a-piece. Then it was all Dubs in the 2nd half.
Steph Curry led the scoring with 37 points, after an 11-point performance in that Game 3 win. With 7-15 3point shooting, followed by Kevin Durant’s 20, and was named 2018 NBA Finals MVP.
LeBron James and Kevin were still the duo who did the last push for the team. Amidst of being only 2nd after the regular season behind Houston Rockets, they were still the team to beat, and probably in the next coming years.
The Cavs went to a tough battle with Game 7’s, against Indiana in the 1st Round, and that nerve-racking duel with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Finals. Maybe they just got tired come Finals and The King can’t do it all.
As for LeBron James, he is still (indeed) the best player today. We know that basketball is a team sport and if the opponent has few all-stars, deep bench plus a great teamwork, it’s tough.
Whatever his decisions will be, if stays in the East or go to the West being prospected by LA or Houston, he always have chances to dethrone the Warriors.
For my Chicago Bulls team, we have a young core, and has checked few players in the draft as well. Let us see if the management can do some serious trades or acquisitions for the team to be atleast in the playoffs once again, lol.
