BATANGAS CITY TANDUAY ATHLETICS HANDA NA PARA SA MPBL ANTA DATU CUP
Matapos na magdagdag ng 2 manlalaro ni inaugural MPBL Champion Coach Mac Tan sa katauhan nina former PBA-KIA player Bong Galanza at former PBA D-League Tanduay player Sandy Cenal, tatlo pang mga manlalaro ang idinagdag para sa inaugural MPBLchampion team Batangas City Tanduay Athletics.
Maglalaro para sa Athletics ang mga collegiate players na sina former player of the year Jason Opiso ng Centro Escolar University. Ang 6’2 forward na si Opiso naglaro na rin noong 2013 sa PBA D-League para sa koponang Cafe France.
Inaasahan naman na makakatulong sa backcourt ang 5’11 guard mula sa University of the East na si Andrey Arminion is a 5-foot-11 guard from University of the East.
Bukod dito ay maglalaro rin para sa Athletics ang 6-foot-4 forward na si Nico Abatayo ng National University.
Bagamat may mga pagbabago, ay nanatiling buo pa rin ang champion squad sa pangunguna ni ex-PBA player at kauna-unahang MPBL Anta Rajah Cup MVP Val Acuña.
Patuloy na aasahan para sa koponan sina ex-KIA player Lester Alvarez, former Blackwater player Jhaymo Eguilos, forward Paul Varilla, at Teytey Teodoro.
Magbubukas ang Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Anta Datu Cup ngayong araw, June 12, 2018 sa Araneta Coliseum.
