PHILIPPINE CULINARY CUP 2018
Nitong nakaraang Agosto 1-4 ay naganap ang 2018 PHILIPPINE CULINARY CUP sa SMX Convention Center Manila na dinaluhan ng may isang daan katao na nagmula pa sa iba’t ibang bansa bilang kalahok.
Hiindi nagpahuli ang mga delegado mula sa Batangas, isa na dyan ang team sa pangunguna ni Chef Ray Lubis.

Nakapasok ang lahat ng entries ng Team ni Lubis na binubuo ng mga estudyante mula sa Unibersidad ng Batangas.
Ang team ay kinabibilangan nina Kim Rosales, Adler Jean Yochingco, Popoy Mendoza Maranan II na nakapag-uwi ng BRONZE MEDAL para sa kategoryang “Creative Breakfast Challenge” at ang winning entry nila na TAPANG TAAL AT LUGAW.
At para sa FILIPINO CUISINE, nakakuha Bronze ang kanilang entry na KINULOB SA ADOBONG DILAW at PAELLA.
Samantala isa pang Batangueño ang nakasungkit ng SILVER AWARD para sa kategoryang “Fantasy Plated Desserts”.
Ito ay walang iba kundi ang tao sa likod ng sikat na Sweet Claire patisseries sa Batangas, si Kim Lester Saniel na tubong Bauan, Batangas.
Ang kanyang winning entry ay ang “creme brûlée with caramelise apple”.
